MPC makes it easy to add notes about your company’s Compliance Activities. To add a note, go to ADMINISTRATION/COMPLIANCE ACTIVITIES, make a new Compliance Activity and enter the note in the Description field. Note that there are no employees or emails or participation requirements for this type of Compliance Activity; instead, it is simply a “Note To File” that may of immense value under review or audit.
A common ECR note is when an employee is recognized as having violated a policy. When you counsel the employee, you are performing a Compliance Activity that should be documented. After the employee has been counseled, make a note in the ECR that the employee was counseled. This note takes less than a minute to created, and maybe years down the road will be important to demonstrate your culture of compliance.
