While you can do this, the minimum agreement period is for six months.
More importantly, the materials in the MPC public policy library are only a part of MPC’s value. MPC is in the business of making it easy to create and administer your compliance program, and to keep the record of your compliance activities in an always audit-ready state. While MPC’s public policy library materials are a great starting point and give you the substance of a compliance policy and critical education, the public policy library itself is not MPC’s main value.
When an auditor reviews your compliance program, the questions will not be so much about what your documents look like; instead, the questions will be about what you have DONE with your compliance program, what compliance activities have you completed, have all of your employees participated, and what you do as standard operating procedure to maintain compliance. Keep in mind as well that your records of compliance activities must be maintained for at least six years. The value of your ECR™, maintained by MPC, will be evidence when an auditor comes calling.
